We are proud to share that our own Mark Pienkowski has been re-appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for CASA of East Tennessee.
CASA of East Tennessee is a community-based program dedicated to advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Knox County. The organization recruits, trains, and supports citizen volunteers who serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children navigating the foster care and juvenile court systems.
CASA volunteers work tirelessly to discover a child’s best interests and help secure a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. This important work is done in close collaboration with the Knox County Juvenile Court, educators, medical professionals, social workers, community organizations, and relevant government agencies.
Mark’s continued service reflects his commitment to making a positive impact in our community and ensuring that vulnerable children have strong, dedicated advocates in their corner.
